We chose a Shaker kitchen as it was in keeping with the countryside aspect of the home and used a light colour palette to really keep it light and airy. One of the unique things about a Nü kitchen is that we offer an almost endless array of colours for our painted kitchen ranges.
Our client approached us as their existing kitchen was in good condition but looked dated and dark and the layout wasn’t working for the family, plus, the appliances were starting to fail. They wanted more storage, a design that was suitable for a busy family of four and two dogs, and to bring more light to a somewhat dark room.
We added storage that went floor to ceiling to maximize space and changed the layout from a U-shape to an L-shaped design with an Island for extra surface space. We also upgraded the old appliances to make the whole kitchen look slick and fresh.
The end product is a truly beautiful, calming space that’s functional as well as lovely to look at.
